The Truth About Skyfall
Ok, so I am going to leave my old idea of Daniel Craig being a horrible Bond, because I just had an experience that I would love to have again, I saw Skyfall. This movie revamped the splendor of the classic films and is officially my favorite movie of all time! It brought back the sardonic Bond that was still deadly, and also turned him back into a relatable character who the audience feels for. The ending was epic, and I absolutely loved how Q was a real character again with a role! Also, I loved the return of the greatest car of all time, the Aston Martin DB5. This movie made Bond seem real, and again and again I felt the pain of him as he struggled to recover from his injury. It really took Bond back to his roots, and I can't wait for the next film to come out!!

The sizzle of steak, the cool, refreshing taste of a massive milkshake fit
for a king, and a classic diner feel to top it off; all of these can be found at
the wonderful restaurant know as, Winstead’s.
Some people believe barbeque is Kansas City’s trademark, but ask anyone,
Winstead’s addicting steakburger, is the true pride of Kansas City. This amazing
restaurant has been called many names, one of them being the Midwest Burger
King.
A little known fact about Winstead’s is that they invented the first true,
“frosty,” one to two generations before Wendy’s even existed! But Winstead’s
real trademark is their steakburger; flattened patties of steak thrown in with
grilled onions, cheese, and any other condiment or topping. But wait, there is
more! The fantastic fries and the awe inspiring onion rings give a perfect side
to the steakburger.
Each burger gets personal attention from their amazing chefs, making each
burger a unique, one of a kind creation.
If boredom, you can always put a few quarters into the jukebox and listen to
the smooth sounds of jazz, or the relaxing feel of the Beatles, all while eating
the fantastic food that has been a Kansas City favorite since 1940!
Once you have completed your steakburger and fries, then the experience can
be completed by washing that phenomenal meal down with the gigantic and
magnificent Skyscraper Shake!
This massive tower of ice cream and whipped cream is finished off with a
perfect touch, four bright red cherries. The best, truly is, the butterscotch
shake.
If you are looking for the true Kansas City Pride, look no further than the
Winstead’s 72 year classic, The Steakburger.

WELCOME TO EL DORADO
Caleb Daniels
The city of gold is making its debut in Raymore. But its riches do not lie in gold, but instead in their food, it is El Dorado.
A not very well known restaurant in Greenwood, El Dorado is a great place to go to watch the game with some buddies, or a family reunion, due to the homely environment created by the friendly staff. You will be lucky to visit them in there new, now open location, North Madison and 58 highway.
The wait staff is kind, and every watchful. If the drink is even half empty, they will swoop in and refill it, and the same goes for the salsa bowl.
“The waiter(s) were always nice, and they were always ready to help out or refill your salsa bowl,” said Andy Hille, freshman.
Speaking of the salsa, it is quite simply phenomenal, “I thought it was amazing, the beans and rice tasted perfect, and the salsa was so good I just couldn’t stop eating it. Their salsa is the type that you could just eat forever,” said Hille.
The food, to put it simply, is heavenly. Every dish is personally prepared by the chefs that deserve awards for their great creations, because each and everyone is a master piece on its own.
This new location for this restaurant may have already housed many Mexican restaurants, such as El Maguey and Tequila Jeslico, but I believe this one will be different. The environment created by the décor and kindness of the staff is extremely relaxing, something that I feel that the other restaurants lacked.
The only downfall of this amazing restaurant is their nachos. The cheese is not a liquid heaven, but instead simply cheese melted over chips. But, as of late, the nachos have gained in authenticity. This one fault certainly does not outweigh the benefits of going to this place. Remember the name, El Dorado.
